[Case Study] Data Logger Contributes to the Protection of Sake Brewing Water
We would like to introduce an example of using our data logger for groundwater surveys in the activities of protecting and conserving groundwater for sake production!
We would like to introduce a case study using the "data logger" from Onset, which we handle. Sumikawa Laboratory was using a float-type chart water level gauge to collect data. However, temperature and humidity could adversely affect the ink. Additionally, not only was the recording paper prone to deterioration, but slugs would often chew on the recording paper or crawl across it, making the data unclear. Therefore, we used our products. Currently, we have installed "HOBO U20 Water Level Loggers" at over 400 observation points with depths ranging from 3m to 45m to collect data on water temperature and water level. With the waterproof data retrieval device "Waterproof Shuttle," data collection and restart can be done easily, freeing us from the hassle of bringing a computer to the field and the associated weather risks.
